Training Programme

Part Time

The following training structure meets both statutory requirements at a University level and those of the complementary medical institutes. The focus of the training is the safe and effective delivery of the therapeutic intervention for the treatment of violence and patterns control, addiction, self-harm and related disturbances.

 Outline

The ‘Integrated, Constitutional Certificate’ training programme requires a minimum numbers of practice hours, continuous person-centred assessment and academic training such that all modules can be completed over the period of one year.

The programme conforms to an agreed set of standards and codes of practice and ethics as set out in the Placement Agreement and Therapeutic Ethos documents and also the Summary of the Codes of Practice and Ethics of the European Association.

The ‘Integrated, Constitutional Certificate’ programme is a system that is cohesive and adheres to University and post-qualified practitioner standards.

The training programme allows practitioners to receive certification and accreditation as part of continuing professional development.

Accreditation is provided by the European Cranial and Complementary Medical Association in conjunction with the Institute for Complementary Medicine.
