Objects The objects of the European Cranial and Complementary Medical Association are to set the standards and to act as a training body for complementary health, cranial and conventional medical practitioners in the field of constitutional, integrated, complementary medicine. The focus of the training is the treatment of: * Patients presenting with patterns of control, violence, addiction, self-harm, maliciousness and related disturbances. * Practitioners person-centred growth and development. * The treatment of healthcare professionals who have experienced violence at work. The Association also: * Facilitates the provision, by agreement and under license, of constitutional, holistic, drug-free medicine, treatment processes and programmes in penal institutions in the world. * Provides appropriate training for practitioners and healthcare professionals or prison staff. * Establishes accredited training standards in relation to the operation of the Association. * Facilitates and co-ordinates international and European interest in the application of constitutional, holistic, drug-free recovery processes and treatment programmes to institutionalised environments including prisons and general or psychiatric hospitals. Membership Categories Full To be announced in July 2000 Associate Healthcare and associated professionals, in both conventional and complementary medicine, who have completed the Integrated, Constitutional Certificate training programme. License To be announced in July 2000 Affiliate Healthcare organisations, NHS Hospitals, Primary Care Groups, Social Services, Prison and Probation with whom there is a formal agreement to provide the Integrated, Constitutional treatment programme. Institute Professional healthcare organisations with whom we have a formal agreement to provide post graduate training and continuing professional development. Individual Network Healthcare orientated professionals who have an academic interest in the this work and who may attend conferences and seminars. Group Network Healthcare orientated organisations who have an academic interest in this work and who may be represented at conferences and seminars.
