This minibus has been provided for the benefit of young people in the Trowbridge community area. It is a 15 seater Renault Master Diesel Minibus fitted with a hydraulic tail lift to enable seating for five wheelchair users. It will be available for use by youth clubs and groups for educational, sporting and community purpose on a non-profit making basis. The funds used to purchase this new bus have come from an accumulation of monies following the closure of Innox Hall and previous Minibus account funds, a grant of £6,100 from Wiltshire County Council Youth & community Service and a grant of £5,000 from the countryside agency.

The launch of this new minibus demonstrates the growing commitment of the Youth & Community service to take positive steps towards enabling access to its services including young people with disabilities. It will be based at CourtMills Centre Trowbridge and managed by centre staff.
