How to Book.   Please contact us first to check availability and make a booking. To confirm this complete a booking form or submit the online booking form and send your deposit (or full amount) within 7 days (10 days if booking from outside the UK). Holiday information, what to bring plus details of how to reach your accomodation will be included with your receipt.

Deposit and Balance.   Please send a deposit of £60 per person. If your choice is unavailable or the holiday is cancelled this will be refunded. Your balance payment should reach us no less than six weeks before the start of your holiday.

Payment.   Cheques should be made payable to Curlew Guided Walking Trust Account. Overseas guests can pay by sterling bank draft (British Pounds) or electronic funds transfer - details on application. We can accept personal cheques in most major currencies (dollars, euros etc) - please contact us for the latest exchange rate for your currency. If using this method please add £10 to cover UK bank charges.
PayPal: make a simple, secure card payment with PayPal (please ask for details).

Security of Payments. Your money is held in a Trust Account and released to Curlew Guided Walking only on completion of your holiday. This complies with the E.C Package Travel Directive of 1993 to protect your money in the instance of insolvency.

Cancellation. If you have to cancel please tell us as soon as possible. We will refund your balance if we can fill your place. If this is not possible then this schedule will apply from the date you notified us:

More than 42 days before: 100% of the balance returned 42 to 29 days before: 75% of the balance returned 28 to 15 days before: 50% of the balance returned 14 to 7 days before: 25% of the balance returned 6 days or less before: Nil

Cancellation by us: if we have to cancel your holiday then we will inform you of this as early as possible. You will have the option to transfer to another holiday or we will refund your deposit and balance in full.

Insurance. Personal holiday insurance to cover illness, injury, personal belongings and cancellation is recommended. You are advised to take out a policy particular to mountain walking and its associated risks.

Safety. All reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure your safety and guests agree to abide by the decisions of the walk leader. However, Curlew Guided Walking cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to property or death or injury whilst partaking in any organized event. We cannot accept bookings for any person under the age of 18 unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The Walks. We reserve the right to change walks, guides or itineraries in the light of prevailing weather, driving conditions or other safety reasons.

Complaints. In the event of a complaint, please notify the group leader so that steps can be taken to rectify the problem. Complaints following a tour should be sent to Curlew Guided Walking within 14 days of the holiday ending.
