The record library holds, it is estimated, 45,000 items of music collected since the beginning of the station almost thirty years ago. The Bailrigg FM record library is thought to boast one of the largest vinyl collections in the country, and dozens of new items are added weekly.

The record library also serves as an archive of all URB / Bailrigg FM material from years past. These include reel - to - reel and carts which we are planning to copy onto more modern media so that they can continue to be enjoyed by future years of station members once the hardware is no longer available to play the old formats.
