START on B1041, GR180620, old Great North rd, Little Paxton, 190 yards south of the southern boundary fence of Samuel Jones, 23 yards south of mile stone 57 at a point marked on the road side surface.  Proceed south to A1 southbound carriageway and continue south to.....  TURN (4.6 MILES) around Black Cat Roundabout (junction with A428). Retrace outward route on A1 northbound carriageway and continue past little Paxton flyover bridging the a! To....  FINISH at `clearway ends` sign, GR 185633,some 300 yards beyond the flyover.  Follow slip road round, leaving A1 to return to start area.
