ASMA (The Ayrshire Scottish Music Association)
was formed in 1987 as an alliance between the four Ayrshire Accordion
& Fiddle Clubs - Ayr, Beith, Galston & Mauchline.

ASMA AIMS
|
|
|
|
To promote and develop the playing of Accordion and Fiddle with
particular (but not exclusive) emphasis on Scottish traditional
music.
To organise an Annual Festival with competitions for all ages and
standard of musician.
To encourage young people to take up an instrument as a hobby.
To bring an awareness of the importance of music to the wider public.
