BOBBY
TORRANCE

Bobby is a retired farmhand who lives in Ayr. He took up the mouthorgan in the late sixties and taught himself to play traditional Scottish tunes very much influenced by the late Sir Jimmy Shand. His couthy style is rexlaxed and effortless and Bobby is very popular at the accordion clubs around Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway and the Borders.
Away back in 1982 he made an album cassette titled 'Moothie Magic' and after a bit of persuasion he got back into the studio to record 'Moothie Memories' in 1998.
Bobby plays the standard 'Echo' double sided mouthorgan made by Hohner and has a collection of them all in different keys.
