ASTRONOMY AND ASTROLOGY I have always been interested in celestial mechanics, particularly with regard to the solar system, and have whiled away many happy hours writing software to calculate accurate planetary positions. Observation of the planets is easy if you know when and where to look for them. I use a pair of binoculars, either 8 X 32 or 20 X 50. Observation of the night sky is easier when the moon is not near full. The site at NASA provides a good start. |
