west central Java - many localities

Description Leaves moderately densely or not at all pruinose beneath, in young plants with conspicuous dark purple blotches or the lower surface entirely purple ; petiole and costa yellowish green or purple. Ovary glabrous ; largest ripe berries 10.5 - 13 cm long.
