Comments Baker comments on this under Musa cavendishii [= Musa (AAA group) 'Dwarf Cavendish'] and writes " M. Massoni, Sagot Musa 21 (name only), supposed to be wild at the Gaboon and cultivated in Bourbon, is said to be like Cavendishii, but with slightly different fruits". I am not sure to which of Sagot's publications Baker is referring; it is not Sagot 1887.  I do not know if M. massonii is sufficiently "like" M. cavendishii for M. acuminata to be considered as the accepted name.
