A TRAGIC DEATH

David Edges magazine offers its sympathy to the family and friends of David Cotterill, aged 17, who died recently. He had experienced the nightmare of homelessness but found warmth and compassion with his friends at Nightsafe Day Centre, an organisation that helps young people in Blackburn, Lancashire. He also found companionship within the hostel environment and made many friends.

WE PAY TRIBUTE TO.....

Two young men who had also experienced homelessness speak affectionately about David.

"I met David when he first came to Blackburn. He had lots of problems when he first came and we helped him out. He would laugh and he would enjoy himself. we got on really well and I'll miss him" "He lived at Stonham with me and we used to hang around together. He was a close friend. I knew him for about six months and when I went to his funeral I found out his mum knew my mum. He used to come with me when he had problems and I would look after him."
