OUT OF PRISION but nowhere to go

Ray Craig visits our Drop-in-centre.

I came out of prison three months ago, I was in for theft. I spent twelve months in prison. It wasn't so bad because I have been there plenty of times before and I know what it's all about. I have been in Preston, Havrigg, Lancaster Castle and Kirkham. I felt Kirkham was the best one.

At the moment life is grim. I'm just going from day to day relying on getting drugs. I don't know why I am on drugs, it started along time ago and now it has become a dependency. I'm not sure anymore what I would like to happen. The drugs have took over my mind. I don't know where I am going anymore or what I am doing.

When you are in prison you can't get off drugs, it's just as bad in there as out here.
