White Wines:
Bliss Sauvignon Blanc 2006 (£8.59)
Region - Mendocino County, California
Grapes - Sauvignon/Semillon
Story - balances layers of tropical fruit on the nose with crisp,
clean grapefruit/blackcurrant fruits on the palate.
Luna Pinot Grigio 2006 (£14.29)
Region - Napa Valley, California
Grapes - Pinot Grigio
Story - Barrel fermented Pinot Grigio.
Conundrum 2006 (£15.95)
Region - Napa Valley, California
Grapes - Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Muscat Canelli
Story - A unique non-traditional multi-blend white.
Red Wines:
Jewel Collection Petite Sirah 2005 (£7.25)
Region - Lodi, California
Grapes - Petite Sirah
Story - Deep-coloured red with blueberry and black cherry fruits.
Oak ageing adds vanilla and spice to the overall flavour.
Snociualmie Merlot 2006 (£9.89)
Region - Columbia Valley, Washington State
Grapes -Merlot
Story - Elegant version of the (other) Bordeaux grape.
Duck Pond Pinot Noir 2005 (£12.59)
Region - Willamette Valley, Oregon
Grapes - Pinot Noir
Story - Reasonably priced version of the phenomenon that is Oregon
Pinot Noir.
Cline Ancient Vines Mourvfedre 2004 (£12.99)
Region - Contra Costa County, California
Grapes - Mourvedre
Story - Exotic version of the Bandol grape from shy but quality
bearing old vines.
