White
Casa de la Ermita Viognier 2011
Pale golden colour, clean & bright. Fresh peach and tropical fruits.
Rich fruity palate with depth and spice. Clean acidity, good length
and a rounded finish.
Dinastia Vivanco Rioja Blanco 2010
Pale yellow with a hint of green. Fresh, clean citrus lime acidity. Some
minerality, elegant flavours of green apple, citrus fruits, pineapple
with hints of white pepper. A great flavoursome length.
A2O Albarino Sobre Lias Bodegas Castro Martin 2010
Pale lemon with hints of green. Musky apricots and peaches with lime
acidity. Richer in style yet with a delicate mouth feel and good minerality.
Long fine, expressive finish.
A Coroa Godello Valdeorras 2010
Golden yellow colour. Rich nose of ripe fruit apples, pears and melon
with some mineral and floral notes. A fuller, complex wine with some
intensity yet with an elegant acidity making it fresh and well balanced.
Red
Bobal de Sanjuan Tinto 2011
Fresh youthfully deep colour. Rich red fruits, violets and pepper flavours
but youthful with evident maceration. Juicy but dry Beaujolais style,
good depth and is well rounded. hints of tar with light ripe tannins
and a fine long finish.
Navaherreros Garnacha de Bernabeleva 2009
Light garnet with a rich texture. Rich, intense red fruit with some
spiciness. Light rose and strawberry flavours in the mid palate. Nice
acidity with dry tannins and some high alcohol. Reasonably well balanced
with a lovely long finish.
Tomas Cusine Vilosell 2009
Very deep and dark red cherry colour. Big red fruit and spices overlaid
with refined oak flavours. Great depth of complex flavours and well
structured. Yet with elegant light balanced acidity and sweet tannins
providing a long lingering delicious finish.
Dinastia Vivanco Coleccion Vivanco 4 Varietales 2009
Extremely dark, black with youthful hints. Big luscious dark fruits,
huge depth of flavour. Intense but well balanced. Soft tannins with
good acidity. Liquorice and spices on the long sweet oak finish.
