Roddy McDonald from McDonald Wines presented the following Spanish wines:
White
From the Rueda region, Emina 2006, a blend of Verdejo (80%) and Viura (20%)
From the Monterrei region, Crego y Montaguillo 2007, a blend of Godello and Teixadura
From the Rias Baixas region, Pazo de Señorans Albariño 2006
Rosé
From the Somontano region, Olvena Merlot Rosado 2006
Red
Also from Somontano, Olvena Tinto 2004
From Rioja, Siglo Saco Crianza 2004
Also from Rioja, Lagunilla Reserva 2003
And, lastly, a dessert wine made from Pedro Ximénez grapes in the Montilla-Morilles region - Perez Barquero's PX Cosecha 2006. This was served with chocolate truffles from Elaine Forrest's Wicked Chocolate Company.
