Bangkok has got to be one of the busiest cities I have ever been to, and the traffic is unbelievable.
I stayed in the Shangri-La Hotel which was fantastic, I think it is a five star hotel and the first one I've ever stayed in. It had about 50 something floors and it's own shopping centre! When you went to the top in the lift, where my room was, your ears popped halfway up it was that high!
Unfortunately for the two days I was there it rained almost everyday so I didn't get a chance to see any of the sites which means I'll have to come back again :-)
Whilst I was in the river front bar one day this longtail boat went past, now all the other longtail's had either little diesel engines or small 4 cylinder petrol engines. This guy had a turbocharged V8, all I can say is he must get home quick at night!
