Cruz del Sur
(Southern Cross)

The Argentine Air Force Aerobatic Team

The Cruz del Sur are currently equipped with the Sukhoi Su-29 AR. The code numbers of the team aircraft were originally AC-100 to AC-108, although now, aircraft number AC-100 no longer exists, so the team use AC-101 to AC-108. The AC prefix signifies Acrobatico (Aerobatic).

This first batch of five photographs were shot at Cordoba, Argentina 2/10/98,
and are © Juan Ignacio San Martin, 1998.
