Chance Vought F7U-1 Cutlass         (1952)

When the team was reformed after their tour in Korea, they were also assigned just two of these Cutlasses, which they displayed while their Panthers were grounded. Only fourteen of these "dash one" models were ever produced, and the Blue Angels soon dropped them in mid-1952 due to the very excessive maintenance they required.
