comments: I urge everybody who reads this to go to the Portsmouth match. Because there is allways a good atmosphere at boxing day matches and Ithink if we win then we will have a good chance against Tranmere & QPR. If we can generate some good noise then we will have a great chance against pompey who are currently in the bottom 5. The town end are offering a good deal as well ,2 adults & 2 kids plus £10 to spend in the club shop for £25!!!!!! Come on town and sing your hearts out for the lads!!!!!!

comments: I went to Maine Road on Saturday with some City supporting friends and it's the first time I've seen the robins this season. We were very poor against a below par City team who really could've scored far more.I couldn't hear much encouragement from the travelling fans either. Was that because they were sat 'outside' the ground. The City fans offered, I feel, the ultimate insult by ignoring the Town fans totally and engaged in banter amongst their own supporters in each stand. It was as if we weren't there at all!It looks like a bleak Christmas and a worrying New Year.

comments: Just got back from the Charlton game and what an appalling display of management from the man Quinn - bringing Williams (who had played quite well) off, and leaving old man Onuara on the pitch and himself on for 90 minutes, even though he looked like he needed a zimmerframe. Why the hell didn't Griffen come on earlier? We might even have won.  Good game for Ty Gooden, but Quinn has got to sort out how to manage a football team or go.

Oh, by the way forgot to mention how good this site is.  The official site is crap, and there aren't any other ones as good as this. Keep it up. Come on SWINDON!!

Walsh should have taken off Quinn who was pretty ineffective and at least given Charlie 25 mins.Gooden and Howe are a complete waste of space!!Still there is always the cup.Lets try to have a decent crew at Charlton.See you there.

It's looking bad but hey at least we don't support those chaps from down the A420. comments: I am web designer and program editor for a Caernarfon Town (ex-Unibond now League of Wales), who are going through some financial problems, our league has told us we need a 250 seater stand (despite the fact the current 100+ seats are never filled!) we are having problems getting grants and we are asking footy fans from around the world to support us in our efforts to keep Caernarfon Town in the league of Wales, either by donations or simply by sending £1-25 for a copy of the program. We actually have an ex Swindon Town player who has just joined us in an effort to get fit after an injury playing for Swindon Reserves - Karl Robinson thanks Pete

comments: How is it that HUNT states for the last two months that George will not go for less than 2 million and then takes the first one million pound offer on the table. If you listened to George on Wiltshire sound on Friday you can tell that he does not want to go to a club that is only one point better off than our miserable season's tally. Why is it that whenever we buy a reasonable player there is always a part of the profit that goes to the club whom we bought it from, yet I have yet to here that we have ever been in a similar position when one of our ex players has been sold on. Last point..How is it that a player that Southampton could not give away and was available on a free transfer suddenly becomes available for 65,000. HUNT MUST GO!!!!

You can not blame the leaving of Ndah on it ,though it is no help, you CAN blame crap playing by the likes of Mchugh ( the worst player on the field again!!)and the total lack of effort and commitment by all of them.

As an exile living in Reading, I have been waiting for an opportunity to keep up with the Robins and I would like to thank you for this service which the Club itself don't seem to be sufficiently professional to match (nice graphics/out-of-date info). I am disappointed that our fellow fans seem unable to manage without the word f***. Thanks again. Chris. Can anyone give me any info about that match in '65 against Portsmouth? See you at Saturday's game. You never know the details might be in the programme.

comments: I am f***ing livid, I tell you. Not only did we lose against the scum, we deserved to. Jimmy Quinn had us bang to rights when he said that the players just waltzed through the game. I mean, we were playing our greatest f***ing rivals, one of the most bitter derby matches in the world, and we put fuck all effort in. There was no commitment, no effort, no skill, grit or determination. We just gave up after the first goal. We may have been away, but the Swindon support was great, and they should have been fired up to beat the scum. I still love the Town, but when they can't be bothered to do their jobs, what we pay them to do, I have to wonder why. Come on you Reds, lets see a bit of fucking effort, lets get three points next game, and three in the next away match as well.

In our many arguments about football we always end up arguing about who is best. So, is there anyone out there who can give me some good stats on STFC to throw in his face next time we argue. Any stats relating to beating Norwich would be particularly welcome. Excellent site by the way. Keep up the good work, and good luck to the lads on Saturday. I am still optimistic that we could steal a 0-1 against them ? Not if we play like we did against Bury though. By all accounts we were Boll***s.

comments: I know that we will get spanked at the Stadium of Light, and I can take that. Sunderland are a class side, and good luck to them in the Premiership. However, I will be ****ing livid if Swindon lose next saturday against the scum. We are the better side by a million miles, and if we put as much effort into this most important fixture then we are bound to get something out of it. Therefore, please join me in writing a letter to the players and manager of S.T.F.C. demanding 110% effort at the Manor on the 13th. If we play to our best ability and don't punt the ball long in the hope that Iffy + George will get it, I think we can do the bastards. But please, please, please, if you are a real fan, write to the boys and demand a real away performance, and we will forgive them anything for the rest of the season
