Foil

Formed in West Lothian in 1995, Foil are a rock band. And that is all you can say - it's impossible to pigeon-hole them any further than that, as their music encompasses such a vast array of styles. Reviver Gene is angst-ridden and grungy, Are You Enemy? is angry power pop, and latest single Don't Come Around (out 22nd September) is of the punk pop rock variety. The one constant factor is quality, as you'll know if you've heard any of their offerings...

A rereleased and rerecorded version of Reviver Gene, with three brand spanking new B-sides, will make an appearance at the beginning of November. There'll be an album, too, 'Spread It All Around', released in January.

Once upon a time I found the official Foil website, but I didn't make a note of it, and despite successive searches, I haven't found the damn thing again... anyone who knows where it is please tell me!
