History of PPW (Points Per Win)

Points Per Win (PPW) statistics are much in vogue with american winkers. The graph below charts the average number of points scores per won game in each year since 1985. (1998 is up to Cambridge Open).

Aside from a large drop from 85-87 when the game exploded in Cambridge (with CUTwC having club memberships in excess of 200 winkers), the PPW figures remain pretty static.
