  Philip Lawrence
As head teacher at St. George’s School in Maida Vale, North London, Philip did all he could to show each pupil that they were special. He cared deeply for them and firmly believed that each young person had a valuable contribution to make to the life of the school and the local community.

He was an inspiration to many, and his tragic death - stabbed at the gates of his own school - encouraged many people to take action.

  High Flyers
A group in Cambridge were just such people. Wanting to help children develop core values and life skills as an essential part of their growth into adults they set this project. They named it as they did because of their belief that the real High Flyers are those who strive to reach their full potential while being responsible citizens with an active concern for others.

  People
High Flyers is all about people. Find out about the people involved:
  • Trustees - the people who manage the project.
  • The Team - the people who work on the project - paid and unpaid.
  • Volunteering - an opportunity for you to be involved.
