Though I have spent countless pleasurable hours making this tree, relatively little of the information is the product of my own research, and I am grateful to the many relations - some very distant - who have shared the fruits of their work with me, and to several printed and web sources.

If you would like to view the information in "tree" format, I'd be happy to send you a GEDCOM file, which also contains more information about many of the individuals. A GEDCOM file can be imported by any geneaology computer program, and by suitable iPad/iPhone apps - GedView is very good at £2.49.
