Padauk solidbody

This was my first attempt at a set neck guitar.

The body is made from a single piece of African padauk and has a carved top.

The neck is maple, with a scarf-jointed headstock. The 25-inch scale fingerboard is rosewood, and holds 22 heavy-gauge frets. The markers are abalone dots.

The pickups comprise a 'Rocker' at the bridge, and a Seymour Duncan 'Pearly Gates' at the neck. These are controlled with a single volume knob and a standard 3-way toggle switch. A 4-way rotary switch selects various single coil and phasing modes for extra versatility.

The sounds are exactly as you would expect from a 2-humbucker guitar, with the rotary switch offering a very 'Peter Green' sound with both humbuckers out of phase.
