Return to the Great Hall: 'Follow me mortal!'

"Greetings! This here is a selection of quotes and sayings from out founder, the Warmaster, and other famous Warmasters who served Legio Mortis. Some are also taken from those who scribed some of the mighty war songs that acompany us to victory!"

"Alone as a stone altar, the castle and its keep. Life faerytale dominion rose a widow to the snowy peaks. Wherein reclined the Countess, limbs purring from the kill and bathed in virgin white and like the night, alive and young and unfulfilled."

"For every battle honour, a thousand heroes die alone, unsung and unremembered."

"Oh people, know that you have committed great sins. If you ask me me what proof I have for these words, I say it is because I am the punishment of God. If you had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon me."

"There is no beast without cruelty."

"Nocturnal pulse! My veins spill forth there waters! Rent by lips I cherish most!"

"You tremble carcass? You would tremble even more if you knew where I am going to take you now!"

"Man doth not yield himself to the angels, nor onto death utterly, save only through the weakness of his feeble will."

" The Old Ones were, the Old Ones are, the Old Ones shall be. From the dark stars they came before Man was born, unseen and loathsome they descended to primal Earth. Beyond the gate now dwell the Old Ones, not in the space known to man, but in their angles betwixt them. Outside Earth's plane They linger and ever wait the time of their return, for Earth has known Them and shall know Them in time yet to come. After day cometh night, Man's day shall pass, and They shall rule where they once ruled."

"Daemons to some, Angels to others..."

"Fools!! Thou cannot kill what breeds within thee."

"Only a madman knows no fear."

"Thought begets heresy; heresy begets retribution."

"There is no peace among the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter and the laughter of the thirsting gods."

"Why struggle? You'll feel so much better once I'm finished."

"The Daemon has many forms. You must know them all. You must tell the Daemon from his disguise and root him out from hidden places. Trust no-one. Trust not even yourself. It is better to die in vain than live in abomination. The zealous martyr is praised for his valour: the craven and the unready are justly abhorred."

"'Attack' is the only word worth remembering"

"Can't explain the reason why someone would rather live than die. If dying was the only way to end a life of mental stains. All your life he's been the cause, a man impaled onto a cross. Pure religious holocaust, if religion dies its not my loss."

"Innocence proves nothing."

"Victory needs no explanation. Defeats allows none."

"Knowledge precedes extermination. Knowledge perfects extermination."

"The weak will will always be led by the strong. Where the strong see purpose and act, the weak follow. Where the strong cry out against fate, the weak bow their heads and succumb. There are many that are weak and many are their temptations. Despise the weak, for they flock to the call of the Daemons. Pity them not and scorn their cries of innocence - it is better that one hundred innocent fall before my wrath than one kneels before a Daemon."

"They see no evil and feel no pain, sucking juice from a fallen angel."

"Possession was once nine tenths of the lore. It is so even today, but we must blind ourselves to the tenth that remains and was once Human. Duty requires we out aside such considerations and root out the uncleanliness in thought and deed. There can be no other course of action. No - one can be adjudged innocent of compliance. Better to self destruct than acquiesce."

"The filth of their visage is nothing compared to the filth in their hearts."

"Only the insane have strength enough to prosper; only those that prosper can truly judge what is sane."

"Pain is an illusion of the senses, despair an illusion of the mind."

"Every man is a spark in the darkness. By the time he is noticed he is gone forever. A retinal after image that fades and is obscured by newer, brighter lights."

"Do not waste your tears. I was not born to watch the world grow dim. Life is not measured in years but by the deeds of men."

"Life is a prison. Death shall be my release."

"A man may die yet still endure if his work enters the greater work. Time is carried upon a current incepted by forgotten deeds. Events of great moment are but the culmination of a single carefully placed thought. As all men must thank progenitors obscured by the past, so we must endure the present that those who come after may continue greater work."

"Better crippled in body than corrupt in mind."

"How difficult is it to get to Heaven and how easy it is the be snatched by daemons and yanked to hell."

"The mind in it's own place and itself, can make a Heaven out of Hell or a Hell out of Heaven."

"Lets freedom ring with a shotgun blast!"

"Where did Satan, the Sower of Evil, come from?"

"For a warrior the only crime is cowardice."

"The strong are strongest alone."

"An open mind is like a fortress with its gates open and unbarred."

"A warrior faith in his commander is his best armour and strongest weapon."

"But there in orgiastic Hell. no horrors where worse than the mirrored revelation that She kissed the Devil's phallus by her own decree."

"For those that seek perfection there can be no rest this side of the grave."

"Who is to know what is possible until you have attempted the impossible and succeeded."

"Sow the seeds of damnation and I shall reap the souls of the tainted."

"Fear me for I am your apocalypse."

"And behold, a Daemon Lord comes in the full panoply of battle. At his passing, the trees gibber their rage and the stones shout their hate to the uncaring sky. He hunts the enemies of his masters, for his meat is mortal flesh and his wine mortal souls.
At his left hand moans a Daemon, bound in the shape of an axe. Its songs of blood and hatred echo forth, and fill the sky with a moaning that stirs the dead. At his right hand stand the Lesser Daemons, huntsmen all, straining at the leashes of the Hounds. They chomp upon the shades and spirits they have harried, throwing morsels of innocence to each other, so that all may sample the sweetest meat.
Behind him wait the Legions of his master, arrayed in armour fluted and chased with gold, brighter than the sun darker than midnight. Each hodls a shrieking sword, each shrieks in disharmony with his blade, each joins the chorus of chaos, a promise of worse than death for those that hear it. Beneath their feet the earth writhes at their touch, as if seeking to escape their presence.
Behold, a Daemon Lord comes, and we are doomed..."

"Neither repent they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornications, nor of their thefts."

"Quickly; bring me a beaker of wine, so thart I may wet my mind and say something clever."

"An empty mind is like unto freshly turned sod; if not sown with the seeds of love, duty and honour, the insidious weeds of heresy will take root."
