The Mirror  Thursday 27th January 1999

Today's Matthew Wright column features the first picture (I've seen) of Anita Dobson after the showbiz editor's Exclusive some 12 days ago. Best known as Angie Watts in EastEnders, she is was caught on camera by photographer Richard Young.

'Actress Anita Dobson showed she is coping well with her split from Queen guitarist Brian May on a night out at the theatre'.

The article goes on 'In her first public outing, Anita insisted " I'm fine.  It's been a hard few weeks but I'm coping. I'm sorry, I really don't want to say anymore."'

Article rating 9/10  you're getting so good at these 'Good News' pieces Matthew. We all appreciate it.

Judy's Quote of the day 'The human animal needs a freedom seldom mentioned, freedom from intrusion. He needs a little privacy quite as much as he wants understanding or vitamins or excersie or praise.'
by Phyllis McGinley 1959.
