BIG RON AND THE BIG CON was the headline by Warwick Smith.

'The LOVER of former EastEnders star "Big Ron" Tarr has been jailed for forging his WILL.  Scheming Maggie Kinsella plotted to inherit the actor's house and 41 lock-up garages after he died.

But the plan failed because scheming Kinsella, also claimed housing benefit ' (a government benefit which pays the interest on a mortgage when a person losses their source of income)' for the £150,000 home in Croxley Green, Herts, she shared with the Albert Square market trader until his death at 60 in 1997.

While investigators looked into the £12,000 benefit scam, they found fake documents which Kinsella claimed were Ron's valid WILL's.  She was sentenced to three months in jail at St. Albans Crown Court last Wednesday after pleading guilty to forgery and benefit fraud.  Now Ron's wife Hazel and five children are planning legal action against Kinsella to recover the contents of the actor's house - which included his ashes'.
