The target audience for this film is 18-34 female, although it is broad, warm and inoffensive enough to crossover into a higher age band.
The team onboard the film has all either worked with the Director before or know him socially. Many of the roles were written with these certain actors in mind.
The work has arisen out of a frustration borne out of the repetitively stereotypical nature of work available to British-Asian actors. It is an effort to break stereotypical casting, having a black lead playing an Angel, a mixed-race relationship which works and an Asian lead that makes no mileage out of the skin colour of the actor, which is refreshing.
