'REDHEAD TO STAR IN SHAMPOO ADS, The following ginger locks of EastEnders beauty Patsy Palmer have sparked a six-figure bidding war between shampoo firms.

Hair and beauty companies like L'Oreal, Wella and Pantene are desperate to sign up Patsy.  When she quits, there will be a huge scramble to sign her up with a deal worth hundreds of thousands.'

Dominic was told that Wella and L'Oreal are the favourites.  One source close to the actress says: "For the big firms, Patsy has the silkiest hair in showbiz"  It's reported that Patsy has the silkiest hair in showbiz and that she has been flooded with offers of serious money.

Quitting the show will allow Patsy to pursue work in advertising and films but she is still likely to return to the Square later in the year.
