One by-product of this exercise is that it will enable us to draw up a list of our church activities under four headings in boxes, thus:

The pressures of life tend to make most of us tackle these tasks in the following order:

1: Urgent and important,

2: Urgent but not important,

3: (because by then we are tired) Not urgent or important. 

    We may never get round to

4: The important things which are not urgent. 

Yet these may be the most important of all in the longer term.
