Four Key Conclusions about Mission

1. It is God's mission, not ours (or the Church's).
   
2. It involves relationships and the crossing of boundaries.
   
3. Its breadth and diversity is far greater than can be engaged with by any one human institution or grouping.
   
4. It enfolds in a single movement of God's love two aspects which we usually try to see as opposed to one another: Evangelism and Social Concern.

This fourth point deserves its own special comment because it opens up the whole question of

the Pattern of Missionary Communication
