Our Gower line also came from Kent, my mother being a Gower, my sister & I have
been doing our Family History now for a few years.

I am endeavouring to find relations or associations of James Holmes sentenced in
1833 at Essex assizes & sent to Van Diemans' Land( Tasmania)..Married Ellen
Carmody (20) Ex-Clare County Clare in Launceston Tas.in 1850..

Have all B.D.M records from TAS..1803-1899..New South Wales 1788 -1918 & 1919
-1945 Death & Marriage only Victoria 1837-1920..Other associated rellies are
Thomas Rhodes Ex Walmsley 1847...William Sellars/Sellers..York??all assistance
