I was on the internet trying to find my uncle Lionel 
C. Downer of Fon du Lac Wi, and cameacross this site

I finally found a page that may be relevent to my search for family. My
grandfather's name was Alban Leslie Cheesman and he was apparently from Brighton.
I believe he arrived in Canada in the early 1930's but I'm not sure. He died in
1972 and never really talked about his home. If you know the name and possibly

I'm also interested in Valder's. I'm a descendant of Hans Valder, my great great
grandfather, who immigrated to the United States from Norway in 1838. 

Searching for Manners, Latter, Hills or Sitford. Known to ahve been in the area
of Dane Hill, East Sussex.
