Our part one APPROVED DRIVING INSTRUCTORS TRAINING COURSE consists of approximately twelve weeks of one evening per week with the test taken at the completion. Distance learning courses can be arranged, or a combination of both to suit the individual. Each course is limited to six trainees at any one time to ensure that every person can easily work within the group, and receive maximum attention.
During the training candidates are expected and will be encouraged to do some homework in the form of study, and answering the many questions that they will be supplied with. The actual test is of a high standard, but can be passed easily first time providing the trainee is prepared to commit themselves.
Throughout the course, not only the main publications, and manuals are used for reference, but trainees are supplied with course resource material, and will include working with video CD ROM and audio tapes. B.D.C. have a bank of over 10,000 questions to work from, although on the test there will be only 100 questions to answer.
During the training each client is encouraged to be involved within the group, ask questions, and work together to obtain the highest results. For those who may be experiencing difficulties, further training may be offered at no extra cost.
On the D.S.A. test the trainee must obtain an overall pass mark of 85%, but this is broken down into four bands. Each band is of twenty five questions, and a pass mark of twenty must be achieved. The course is designed to teach the trainee how to read both the question and answer very carefully, as just one letter can make the difference of getting the correct, or wrong answer.
