Tri colour Imaging
Well after what appears
to have been an eternity I have finally managed to start Tri colour
imaging. The techniques uses a monochrome CCD camera, in this
case an SBIG ST-10E, and a series of filters in a True Technology
Fiter Wheel.
Images are taken through
a clear, ( the luminance channel), and then corresponding Red,
Green, and Blue chaneels. All images taken with the Takahashi
FS128 at f8. Images taken using CCD soft, aligned combined wityh
MaximDL, and tweaked in Photoshop.
These images below
are my first attempts at imaging this way, and whilst I am pleased
with them, they need more exposure, and better processing. The
compression for the web also seems to have degraded the image
quite a lot.
I hope over the winter period to develop this technique of LRGB,
and in particular using the new 12.5" RC due soon.
