from all our meetings)
DONT LOOK NOW, BUT THE
GUEST BOOK IS BACK AND WORKING!
We are a tenants group on a small estate in the centre of Gloucester, England. Our landlord is the Gloucester City Council who built the estate of about 300 flats (apartments) in the mid-1960s. We have been serving our community continuously since June 1966 and we are the oldest tenant group in the south West of England.
This site is being slowly developed. We hope that you enjoy your visit. Please bear with us, as we are not too computer literate!

Years of training by members of the committee came to nothing as we realised that the "Right To Manage" legislation for England and Wales appeared not to apply to Gloucester! The City Council, despite the recomendation of the Government-approved consultancy report, refused to sign the legal agreement! Here you will find the report of the TCC to the Government outlining the history of obstruction of the City Council. | ||
English Churches Housing Group, the Government-approved consultancy that work with the Kingsholm estate for four years on TMO development, considered that the TMO group was competent to take over the management functions of the estate that it wanted to - the caretaking service, the grounds maintainence, car parking and the "management" of the roof of our tower block (raising money from the telecomunications industry). |
