DATES TO REMEMBER.
- 26 October 1996
- This is a special date for me as this was the first time
that I entered in a competition.
- It was held in Buckie,Scotland.I danced the Pas-De-Basque
and the Pas-De Basques High Cuts.
- I didn't win anything that day,but was very happy to have
taken part in my first festival.
- 5 September 1997
- This was a very special day for me,the dancing school
that I go to held their first festival for years.
- It had taken a lot of hard work and fund raising to
make it possible.I danced very well that day and was
awarded the trophy for the best local beginner.
- My name is Fiona Macleod
- I was born on Feb.2nd.1990.
- I live in Nairn, Scotland.
- I go to Rosebank primary school as does my brother
Graeme.
- I have been dancing since I was 5 years old
- I used to do Scottish country dancing but the class
closed.
- I go to the Cruickshank school of Highland
Dancing
- There is about 8 girls in my class.
- I have a lesson twice a week
- One of the lessons is done in my house.
- I am now 8years old
- I have a brother called Graeme,he is 11 years old.

- This is a picture of Graeme and I,on Holiday.
- I take part in competitions all year round.
- They are usually held on a Saturday.
- In the summer I compete in the Highland Games
- They are good fun as there is usually a fun fair.
- In the winter the competions are held inside.
- These can be a bit boring!!
- I also do displays in the summer,at local fetes
etc.
- These are fun to do as nobody notices your mistakes!!
