| Antigone willingly admits that she broke the law, fully aware
of what she was doing. Her justification was that she did not believe
Creon's law could override the "natural" law which allows sisters
to love their brothers. She believes she'd have been breaking an
older and more important "law" if she had not buried him. She's
ready to accept her punishment. Creon is furious - at her attitude
as much as her crime. |
