Local Patch, South Wales

I went to check on the Kestrel's nest. The chick is much bigger and has most of it's flight feathers. It will probably leave the nest soon. I sat and waited and was rewarded with a glimpse of the male bringing a small rodent in to the nest. He left it whole and the chick began to tear it up and feed itself.

I saw my first Wheatear on the hilltop.
