さて、ここからが上級者編。かなりのイギリス通でないと解けません。

    Agony aunt （＝人生相談のおばさん）として有名なのは、クレア・レイナー。

  3. Hatton Cross
    Ex-Liverpool councillor (= Mr. Hatton) is annoyed (= cross).

  4. Gunnersbury
    Inner (= bury) the Arsenal （このロンドンのサッカーチームの愛称は Gunners）.

  5. Latimer Road
    TV doctor （ナイジェル・ヘイバース演じた医者の名前が、Dr. Latimer）went on horseback.

  6. West Ham
    アルフ・ガーネットは、人気コメディー"Till death do us part" の主人公。彼が応援していたサッカーチームは・・・。

  7. Blackhorse Road
    黒い馬は、ロイズ銀行のシンボル。
