Quake Maps

NOTES: Put the map you wish to run in '<path to quake>\quake\id1\maps\'. Use DOS file names.

Running a Map

To run a user-defined map:

(1) Run Quake
(2) Press the '`' key (to the left of the '1' key).
(3) The console screen appears, type 'map <the name of your map>'

Creating a Map

There are software packages writen to build maps, all you need to do is design it!

I like World Craft, it's very good!  So I have provided the shareware version here (1.73Mb).  You will need Windows 95/98.

I made this map, it's a bit of a mess but, never mind it works!  waterfall.zip (95 Kb)
