I started studying with The Open University in 1992. I had no academic qualifications, two GCE "O" levels and a handful of CSEs, I started just to see if I could learn at this level.

In 1999 I joined the OU as an Associate Lecturer on the innovative course, T171 - You, Your Computer and The Internet. Since then I've worked on M150, TU170, TT281 and T175 - the replacement course for T171.
