IF statement; compound conditions, AND/OR; variable position data; overwriting bytes, MOD; defining and using workareas; extracting records from datasets; creating long records.


	Arithmetic Numeric data: packed, binary, character; ADD, SUB with packed and binary data; MULT, DIV; using literals; packing and unpacking data; converting data, CVxx statements. Further SELCOPY features Subroutines; GOTO; updating VSAM files; processing the date; passing parameters, PARM; setting return codes; Boolean statements, OR, XOR, AND, and their uses; EQU; random data generation.
