Notts & Derby Spring Run - 18 April 2004

Our annual Spring Run started from the Carpenters Arms at Dale Abbey.  Despite the day starting off wet, we had a good turn out of 18 machines.  The run was approximately 35 miles, and all machines made it round without any hiccups.  The Leicester Section supported us very well, even Ron Wright made it round, and was even seen to be overtaking me.

Yes, you did see right, Dave Stevenson followed us round in a 3-wheeled Bond Minicar, which made an unusual sight.  We had a good lunch stop at Staunton Harold.  Many thanks to everyone for making the day a good one.
