Bob Wayte

We’re sad to report the death of EACC member Bob Wayte, who died at home from a heart attack on Saturday 23rd November 2013.  Before joining the EACC, Bob had been an NACC member for many years, founding the Somerset & Avon section in August 1994.  Shortly after that, he organised a club stand at the January 1995 Bristol Show and would be a constant presence at the shows for many years after.  He organised the NACC’s 16th Anniversary Rally in June 1997 and it was at the AGM held at that event that he joined the club’s committee as Events and Publicity Officer—a role he fulfilled for almost ten years until the 2006 AGM.
