Scully: It happened 3 hours ago. She went into surgery and the damage to her brain was worse than they had hoped.....Her blood pressure started to rise....and she......slipped away. She died for me. And I tried to tell her I was sorry but I don't think she'll ever really know.
Mulder: Oh, she knows.........Melissa knows.
Scully: You were right, there is no justice.
Mulder: I don't think this is about justice, Scully.
Scully: Then what is this about?
Mulder: I think it's about something we have no personal choice in. It's about fate.......Skinner told me that he had talked to you. That you were insistent about coming back to work. That Melissa's death is......
Scully: I need something to put my back up against......
Mulder: I feel the same way, we've both lost so much....But I believe that what we're looking for is in the x files, and I more certain than ever that the truth is in there.
Scully: Mulder, I've heard the truth.......now what I want are the answers.

Scully: I want exactly what you want, but I need to see my sister.

Darren Peter Oswald: "Uhm, it was my game...I was playing here..."
Hammond: "Were you, pinhead?  Now you're not."

Zero: "Aw, man... you shouldn't have done that..."

Scully: I don't understand.
Sheriff: That's as clear as glass.

Description: Sheriff starts in with yet another lecture on lightning. Mulder interrupts him and finishes his explanation.
Mulder: 8 cycles per second.  You can pick it up on any transistor radio. See that, sheriff? I did my homework.

Description:  Scully talking to Mulder after being reamed by the sheriff.
Scully: Feel free to jump in *any* time.
Mulder: Why?  You were doing just fine.
Scully: "You have a theory on what's going on here?"
Mulder: "I just don't think it's lightning."

Zero: "You know, I've been thinking..."
DPO: "First time for everything."
(cars squeal, stop inches from each other)
DPO: "Aw, damn ABS brakes..."

Scully: "...I hope you're not thinking this has anything to do with government conspiracies or UFOs."
Mulder: "None of the evidence so far indicates either of those possibilities."

Description: Scully gets a partial shoe print from the crime scene.
Scully: Here we go!
Mulder: That's great!  Now can you make me a little cherub that squirts water? (sidelong glance from Scully)

Scully: The tread looks like a standard military boot...men's...size 81/2.
Mulder: 8 1/2?!  That's pretty impressive, Scully!
Scully: Well, it says so right on the bottom.
