 We
had a night out in Hamilton with Toni, whom we met in South
Africa. After having too many beers yet again, we went for
a surf the next day at the beach at Raglan. It was too busy,
so we went to Stent Road, at Taranaki again, hoping that we
would score it this time.
We
woke in the morning to see Drew Courtney, Jeremy Walters,
Tom Whitaker and Blair Stewart shredding. Surfing with those
guys for 2 days was a bit humbling (for them), but we still
managed the time to build some quality fires and drink a few
beers. We left Taranaki for the last time and headed up to
Auckland to catch our flight to Fiji.
Back in Auckland Steve and I went up the Skytower, and we managed to sell the
car for $400, meaning that it had only cost us $100 to thrash
it for 5 weeks. Not bad really.
