Dear Clansfolk,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I and my family welcome you all to the Clan Chisholm Society International Gathering.  We look forward to meeting with you during the week and enjoying the programme that the organising committee have arranged.

The Society is now fifty years old since being founded by my father and great aunt in 1951.  During this time the Society has done a tremendous amount to foster the the Clan Chisholm, its heritage, genealogy and history.  In return the Society deserves your support and I would ask all of you to come up to the Clan lands during July 2001 to join in the Gathering festivities.
