Monday July 5th sees ALL of the Newcastle players return to the training ground. Well they are all supposed to be back, however Hamman says he wont play for Newcastle again, that's fine by most of the fans, rest of the players and Ruud Gullit. He is the Boss and I can't see him putting up with theses kind of anti Newcastle comments. I say sell him to another premiership club, let them have all the hassle. As long as we get a few million extra to invest in more committed players then that would be fine. Also asked to return is Georgiadis, who's move to Salonika was never more than an enquiry and Des Hamilton whose interest from Southampton has cooled. Albert AND LEE could have both been sold to Fulham, Newcastle asked too much for Albert a few months back and Robert Lee decided to stay at Newcastle . The fee of a million had been set , but Rob could not agree terms. I can't see him getting many a game next season, but don't begrudge such a loyal player from holding out for a better deal. Indeed i have heard that WATFORD want to take him back down south and would be prepared to offer him a very good deal. Others that still haven't found a new home are Carl Serrant who was hoping to move either back to Bradford or down to huddesfield and Nic the Greek who was expected to move back to Greece. Worst of all though are Andreas Anderson who was interesting Stuttgart until they heard how much Newcastle were paying him., and heartless Pistone who has attracted little interest from any team despite having millions knocked off his asking price. He had been on loan at Vicenza but they can not afford either his hefty wage demands or the £2 million rock bottom price that Newcastle are asking. Hot on the who's coming list is a trio that would cost £15 million . The Barcelona pair of Enrique and Reizinger are allegedly the subject of a £8.5 million bid by Newcastle United along with Kieron Dyer who will be sold within the next fortnight. This site will be updated once again every day, now that the team is back in training their should be plenty of Gossip every day. The first of the Pre season games is in Holland against FC den Bosch on the night of 15th July (MY BIRTHDAY BY THE WAY ) I TAKE A SIZE "FAT BLERK" if you are thinking of buying me one of those nice shiny new white away shirts that go on sale on the 9th of July. And Finally heard about the new Alan Shearer? Gosforth born 15 year old Schoolboy Mike Chopra, he goes to the same school as Shearer did, plays centre forward for ENGLAND school boys , he scored 4 goals in a schoolboy international tournament over the last few days at Wembley. including 2 against China, one against France and a winning goal in the last minute of the FINAL against the Argies on Sunday. Unlike shearer though this budding star hasn't escaped the North east, he is a on the Newcastle United books, and hopefully A star for the future |

George Georgiados was allegedly sold to Greek club Salonika today. Newcastle actually doubled their money getting a million pounds for a player who was a bit of a square peg in a round hole. I feel a bit sorry for the little Greek player, who would have dearly loved to have been given a chance to prove him self who never actually got more than a couple of consecutive games. He never had a bad word to say about Newcastle despite his predicament. I wish him all the best with the rest of his career. He will surely have a better chance back in Greece where he is a bit of a star. Leeds and Spurs are a bit miffed at Newcastle today. We were seeded at Number 13 in the UEFA cup whereas Sours and Leeds didn't make the top 16 in U E F As rankings. "It's incredible that Newcastle are placed above us and Spurs when they have finished in the bottom half of the table two years running while we've finished in the top five in both those seasons," said a well pissed off Leeds supporters' club spokesman. Newcastle may still end up unseeded, however, as 16 teams who fail to reach the Champions League enter the UEFA Cup at that stage and some may have better coefficients, Chelsea for instance. Strangely enough Spurs, Leeds and Newcastle will be fighting it out over the signature of Mickey Bridges. Newcastle are probably in the worst position as Monkey Heed will not want to upset the Sunderland fans even more after his huge blunders with the transfer listed trio over the last few days. You could sympathize with them , they sell their three best players with no apparent new players coming in, it looks more and more as if they will do a Notts Forest next season. For Newcastle Steve Clarke has stated that we will be getting a big singing in the next couple of weeks. I believe that they will wish to sell Hamman before confirming the new player . Today they put him on the transfer list with a £10 million price tag, It is believed that real Madrid are interested and may out bid the £7.2 million bid from Villa and £7 million bid from Arsenal. According to Soccernet Newcastle's opening bid of around £3m for Boateng was rejected by Coventry but it appeared recently that the clubs were close to an agreement. I can't see Boeteng being the BIG signing, my money would have been on Costa, Dyer or Enrique, All the fuss about the Man U not being in the FA cup is doing my head in. what does it t matter that a single club has been given permission to opt out. Man U could easily have fielded a reserve team to take part in the 4th round, It's all a bit strange but not very important as far as I am concerned. |

EXCLUSIVE. The DUDI HAMOAN interview is now on the new Soccer-UK web site. I didn't want it on my web site as I want nothing to do with the two faced wantaway German . Arsenal and Chelsea no longer want him. and He was today fined £30,000 for shooting his mouth off . He came back from his holidays earlier than the rest to get his towel onto the best seat in the changing room today , but it's just for a brief showdown with the directors before jetting back to Germany. It looks like we'll have to endure him fore at least the start of the season. Aston Villa have tabled a £7 million bid for him, but it wont be accepted. The Newcastle directors wont let him go for less than £8 million, and that's unofficial.... Poor old Clarkie is getting a right slating again . The Evening Chronicle/ Journal are still making a huge thing of it. I am a bit embarrassed, having it on one of my sites, I reckon I'll take it off and let it rest. ............ NEXT WEEK. In the meantime the new Sunderland Web Site "SAD MAKEM (without a C ) B@st@rd, is now getting web hits that will probably relate to 250,000 a month. That's as many as the original Sunderland site that it was based on, if any advertisers are interested ... get in touch. There is a new story about a new sports car being built in the Nipponese car plant which is rather good. IT'S HERE I made the site on Sunday afternoon after seeing the SMB picture in the Sunday Sun. They apparently got it from Niall Mcenzies site and are trying to get Clarkie sacked, while at the same time slagging off nufc.com for having it in the first place. I should really have been at the Telewest Arena cheering on the old toonsters. Instead I watched it on the TV. A mate of mine did go , the incredibly funny "Marra at the Match" Soft Southerner, made famous by his outrageous reserve reports last year , he dares to venture where only the most faithful and devoted fans bother to go, read his report here. The Northern masters six a side was quite an entertaining day out for those that attended. It was held at the Telexes indoor arena in Newcastle There were four teams of 11 players from Newcastle Sunderland, Rangers and Boro,. It was open to ex football pros over the age of 35 from the respective clubs. Each team had 6 players on Six were allowed . Newcastle had the likes of Chris waddle, Kevin Sheedy and Peter Beardsley on their team. there were six 16 minute games with everyone playing against each other. Newcastle finished top of the league with two wins and a draw ((3-0 against the Makems) . they played Boro as they were runners up in the seventh game which was the Final. Bernie slaven who was top scorer in the whole tournament scored 2 goals we pulled one back but lost 2 -1.. The same rumours are doing the rounds regarding players coming and going. A couple of big football stories not involving Newcastle hit the headlines today. First up is Man United being allowed to opt out of the FA cup next season as they have an World club l tournament to attend next January. Personally I don't give a toss, if they are in or out, I don't know what all the fuss is about The other Story involves lee Clarke and THAT PHOTO. apparently it is all over the Internet, What gets my goat is the likes of the Journal and Chronicle saying it's shocking. They were the ones that published the photo in the first place in their Sunday Sun newspaper. A case of double standards here, if they hadn't mentioned it on their front page on Sunday then it would have just been seen by a few geeks like us on the internet. We would have just had a bit of a laugh the same as Clarkie had when he put the shirt on and it would have been old news pretty soon., BUT NO, The newspapers make a huge thing of it and it's all got out of hand. THERE IS EVEN A BLOODY , "S M B" WEB SITE that seems to have sprung up over night, which pokes fun at the" Sad Makem Bastards". Shocking isn't it? If you want to see some of the culprits behind it then take a look at the NEWCASTLE FANS ON-LINE, photo pages, I updated the photo album today. with a couple of pages, one from Womberlee last month and one featuring a visiting fan A real LOONY from Australia today. The later page also has a latest picture of the leazers end and one of the refurbished Strawberry. |

Sunday always is the best day for rumours. As I reported a couple of weeks ago, The NTL takeover is likely to be back on as local MP Stephen Byers , who happens to be trade the and industry blerkie says he will bend the rules for the toon so that NTL can take them over and give them loads of money'. With this in mind Mr Gullit reckons he will be signing a longer contract. He isn't so much bothered about his wages (reported as £1.3 million each year for the next 3 years) He is more interested in getting a reported £25 million each year for the NEXT THREE SEASONS to spend on a few quality signings. If NTL do buy out dirty Doug's 50% then this shouldn't be a problem, we can expect to see the likes of Del Piero, and Rivaldo signing on the dotted line within a year or so. If they don't take over then we will have to make do with lesser players such as Nicky Butt and Ole Solksjear, oh hang on that's the Makems who are after them. So who will we be signing? We will not be signing, Ivan De la Penis, Apparently he is a Chelsea fan. Neither will we be signing Coventry's George Boetang. he is not good enough for Newcastle. So I wish his agent would pick on some other team to link him with. LOOK.... who will we be signing? Hey, I don't know, I am not Ruud Gullit or slim Frederick Shepherd. All I can do is speculate the same as the rest of the gutter press. If I was a gambling man I would say that we will sign a couple of good midfielders. Chose two from Enrique. Dyer, Seedorf or Groenkjear, plus a third striker, from possibly Keane, Suker or Bridges. Ruud may even go for an older keeper such as Flowers, Seaman or the Lazio blerk. and a right sided defender such as Reizinger. Let's face it though, if he told everyone who he was going to sign , non of us would buy the Sunday papers or pay silly money to listen to team twaddle on the telephone.
Team Twaddle came up with an ace last week in being first with the Dumb Ass story, Now they will claim for months that they are numero uno for the latest rumours. So, what is a site like mine to do? I can't keep up with the big liars like team twaddle can I? All we can do is to keep coming up with more original ideas for our web sites for people to look at , the likes of the SAD MAKEM BASTARD WEBSITE that Clarkie was promoting a few months ago is a fine example. Quite frankly I think it's brilliant, or am I just pissed? The buy a brick in the wall idea on the stadium page is brilliant and where did they get that picture in the gallery from? it's a work of pure genius, (or of a bored Geordie on a wet Sunday afternoon) |

Friday 25th July Ok wishful thinking it's still June |

Apparently Gullit has signed Monaco's 31 year old captain Franck Dumas for half a million. Dumas is one of the best sweepers in France and would have won many caps had it not been for the brilliance of rival Laurent Blanc. Dumb Ass as the opposition will no doubt call him, will be on almost a million a year. The player has been the mainstay at the back for Monaco since he joined in 1992 and has been a key factor in their recent successes. Monaco president Jean-Louis Campora said: "We signed with Newcastle a convention in connection with Dumas. He and his agent brought our attention to the interest of the English club.". This certainly came out of the blue and completes Gullits new look defence with 3 centre backs. next up could be Dyer as a wingback and Luis Enrique in the centre of midfield . Friday 25th June Kenny Dalglish wants Stephen Glass for Celtic. I can well belive this rumour And if I was Newcastle I WOULD SELL HIM TO CELTIC for the £650,000 that Newcastle paid for him. It would be a great shame if he went as he was one of only four good signings , the others being Shay Given , Didi Hamman (we can make money on him) and of course Andy Griffin. Most of the rest of the £38 Million that he spent was a waste of money. So why would I let Dalglish have glass so cheaply? Well there would be a catch , Newcastle should fax a letter to Celtic stating that Celtic can have Glass for £650, 000 that he paid as long as they take him as part of a £13 million package. This package deal consists of 10 players that Dalglish bought that no one really wants
The Dalglish Dudds ..... and what he paid .
I cant see Kenny going for that deal ,pity though!!!! Spain's Luis Enrique is top of Newcastle's most wanted list. He is reported as being Ruud's replacement for Dudi Hamoan, who is now attracting interest from mega rich Lazio. Gullit was happy with Hamman and Speed in central midfield and had not planned to bring in another central midfielder. However, with the imminent departure of the wantaway German misfit and the £10 million that could be generated then Gullit should not only be able to buy 29 year old Enrique but also his Dutch team mate Michael Rieziger. With Enrique in the 6 million bracket and Reiziger valued around £4 million, Newcastle would be able to afford the pair of Barcelona players using the Hamman money. Other positions still needing to be filled is an attacking midfielder , Choose one from Kieron Dyer, Clarence Seedorf, Jesper Groenkjear or Rui Costa . An experienced Goalie such as Lazio's Luca Marchegiani Plus a third striker with Robbie Keane and Michael Bridges high on the list . Rumour has it if Gullit gets the players he is after he would be prepared to sell both Given and Solano to help fund the rebuilding of the team. Reports that Newcastle would like to swap Hamoan for Marc Overmars is purely fantasy football made up by team twaddle. Overmars would be great at Newcastle and Ruud would probably snap Wengers hand off if such a deal was offered , but why would Arsenal part with him? Howay Twaddle you can make up better ones than that. The Transfers page has been updated. |

Marcelino Elena will sign up today for £5 million, and despite all the fuss about committed overseas players he may not be the only foreigner arriving. West Ham's Fanzine, "The Claret and Blues Brothers" reckon that Eyal Berkovich will be the replacement for Chewsee bound Dudi Hamoan, Dalglish is also in the hunt for the Israeli who showed a lot of commitment in staying loyal to the club after he had his head kicked in by Hartson last year. .He is likely to cost around £5 million. Reports from Italy are suggesting that Lazio keeper Luca Marchegiani is a target for Ruud Gullit who belives that Newcastle need a more mature goalie for the younger lads to learn from. A fee of around £3 million has been sugested. I can't help feeling that despite Ruud saying there would be a three way battle for the Number one shirt that there will be unrest . I cant see Shay accepting that situation,. and belive that he will move on before the season starts. On the out going front, Des Hamilton could finally be on his way. Southampton are poised to offer the £1.5 million that Newcastle are asking. |
